16th December 2022 marked the 51 years of victory of our beloved country Bangladesh. After nine months of Liberation War, we achieved the victory and earned the right to express ourselves as a free nation.

“BIOJOYER MUKOTO-MONCHO” (meaning, Open Stage of Victory) is an event organised to celebrate the Victory Day with cultural activities. There was live music, chorus songs, solo dance, group dance, recitations and karaoke segment and more. We are glad to receive such huge engagement in such a chilli weather day.

We are ever thankful to our community & city leaders foe their continuous support. We would like to thank Honourable Terry Duguid, MP Winnipeg South, Mark Wasyliw, MLA Fort Garry, Jennifer Chen, for attending the program. Thank you Janice Lukes City Councillor Waverley West, Honourable Jon Reyes MLA for Waverley, Honourable MLA Andrew Smith, Councillor Vivian Santos for sending their kind regards for the event. Our hearfelt gratitude to our valued community members who attended the event; omwe hope you enjoyed the event. Last but not the least, we are glad to have such a wonderful group of permorfers and volunteers, for whom we were able to execute the event successfully.
